Tennessee is a major focus of In-N-Out’s latest expansion. The state will soon host a second corporate headquarters near Nashville, reflecting the company’s long-term investment in the region. This move positions Tennessee as a strategic hub for the burger chain’s operations east of Texas.

Despite fan enthusiasm, CEO Lynsi Snyder has ruled out a move to the East Coast for now. In a recent podcast, she explained that logistical challenges make it impractical to deliver fresh products that far from their distribution hubs. “Florida has begged us, and we’re still saying no,” Snyder remarked.

While expanding nationwide, In-N-Out remains deeply tied to its California beginnings. Snyder reaffirmed her pride in the brand’s history and loyal local customers. The company continues to operate the majority of its locations in the Golden State, where it was founded by Harry and Esther Snyder in 1948.

In-N-Out is also relocating some of its California corporate employees from Irvine to Baldwin Park – the same city where the brand began. The transition is expected to finish by the end of 2029, with additional staff stationed at the new Tennessee headquarters.
